This organic Ume Vinegar Pickled Ginger is made by infusing organic ginger and shiso with the refreshing floral flavors of organic ume and rice vinegars. The ginger provides a hint of spice while the shiso leaves create a deep pink-purple color and refreshing minty taste. The final result is a pickled ginger that is mellow in taste, especially when compared to Japan’s more common pickled ginger known as beni shouga.
